Viscose/ elastane single knit jersey fabric with a vibrant, block print-style floral design in shades of soft warm yellow, black, warm pinks, leaf green, aqua green, greyish blue, powder blue, tomato red, orange, and fuchsia on ivory white. The design runs in wide stripes across the width of the fabric (selvedge to selvedge), but I notice it is also used in a different direction in the original ruched dress. Fabric is comfortable against the skin, soft, and smooth, but not as silky-smooth as, say, an inner wear modal. Basically opaque on the skin, with very good drape. Suitable for tees, tops which require drape such as cowl-necked tops or knotted styles, blouses, dresses, sleepwear, or kids wear. Viscose knit tends to be softer and drapier than cotton knit, with less shape/ structure to it.
