Tencel ponte dark grey melange 210gsm, by metre

Stretch ponte fabric with an interlocking knit structure, mainly tencel plus nylon for sturdiness, and a touch of elastane.  Ponte is a double knit fabric that is relatively more stable and retains its shape better than most knits, while still having good stretch (usually the "firm" type of stretch).  This ponte has very good drape with moderate structure.  The colour is a yarn dyed dark grey melange, with a slight "shot" effect.  It's smooth overall with slight texture, and is comfortable against the skin.  It feels slightly cool to the touch (less matte-feeling than the hot pink rayon ponte, for comparison).  On the thinner side for a ponte but still fully opaque.  Suitable for clothing such as tees and other tops, knit button-up shirts, dresses with drap, jumpsuits, and knit pants such as culottes.  The cut edges lay flat, making for easier handling.
