Metallic gold and black double-layered polyester blend stretch knit fabric. It handles as one fabric but is actually comprised of a thin solid black interlock attached to an even thinner, gold-foiled top layer. The shade of gold is a bit more yellow/ less bronzey than it looks in most of the photos (first and last photos look the most accurate to me, though ambient lighting does make a difference). Fabric is smooth on the inside - even the right side is quite soft, too. However, it is still a synthetic fashion fabric and is not as breathable as natural fibre. Suitable for pull-on tops, bolero jackets, dresses, jumpsuits, or bottoms. Fully opaque, with good drape and a little structure - enough to form puffed sleeves, for instance. Would also be fun as a photo backdrop or party decor.
For reference, the original garments were cap-sleeved and long-sleeved dresses. Swatches are available, leave a note at check-out if you would like one.
