Pure cotton Japanese interlock fabric with a yarn dyed plaid design in shades of leafy green, red, orange and off-white. This fabric is not reversible and it does have a distinct right and wrong side.  The right side of the fabric has a very soft and cosy, slightly fuzzy texture, whilst the reverse feels smooth and "dry" to the touch.  Both sides are very comfortable against the skin.  Fabric is opaque, with slight drape and some structure to it.  The interlocking lattice-like structure of the knit helps it keep its shape, but do note that this fabric has no elastane so it is not suited for fitted garments that need to spring back into shape, such as leggings.  It is a double knit, so the cut edges lie flat and don't curl at all.  A deadstock fabric suitable for cardigans, bolero jackets, knit shirts, sweaters, kids wear such as jumper dresses and rompers, or sleepwear in cold climates or air-conditioned rooms.  You could even use it as a lightweight throw or lap blanket.

The other colours pictured are available separately in the shop.
