Modal stretch jersey ombre stripe 189gsm, 2.1m cut

Modal single knit stretch jersey fabric with yarn dyed ombre stripes in off-white and a rich true red.  Two versions of this fabric are available, the colours are exactly the same but the thickness of the fabric and the placement of the stripes is just slightly different.  This is the 189gsm version and the pattern repeat is about 85cm long.  It is being sold as one continuous length of 2.1m to give greater flexibility in stripe placement.  As is typical for modal, the fabric feels silky-soft and smooth, slightly cool to the touch and very comfortable on the skin, with excellent drape. White parts are slightly translucent.  This fabric has a slightly looser hand-feel than the 195gsm version.  Suitable for fitted tops, blouses with drape, T-shirts, long-sleeved tees, sleepwear, kids wear, and scraps can be used for underwear.
