Merino wool/ elastane blend yarn dyed jersey with very fine stripes in two shades of lilac purple. This fabric is soft and springy in the hand, and feels cosy and dry to the touch. The inside feels just slightly "woolier" than the right side. Drapes quite well, with a bit of structure to it. It is just slightly translucent over high contrast colours. The cut edges do curl a bit as it's a stretchy single knit. This is deadstock from an outdoor wear brand (click here to view all fabric from this brand), suitable for clothing such as hiking base layers, thermal wear, tees, camisoles, sleepwear, kids wear, etc. Leftover fabric could be used for small items such as underwear or buffs. Fabric can be machine-washed in cold water, but tumble drying is not recommended for longevity.
Wool is naturally odour-resistant, breathable, moisture-wicking (so it dries really quickly), and temperature-regulating. I personally can't wear regular sheeps wool, but I find the wool fabrics in the shop comfortable to wear and not scratchy at all. Still, please buy with care if your skin is very sensitive.
