Merino wool single knit jersey with some stretch, in variegated light and medium neutral greys (design is probably printed). Fabric is soft and smooth, with a dry, cosy hand-feel. It feels "springy" in the hand, which is characteristic of wool fibres. Has moderate soft drape and is somewhat translucent. This is deadstock from an outdoor clothing brand (click here to view all similar deadstock), suitable for clothing such as tees, tunics, light base layers, singlets, lightweight cardigans, sleepwear, kidswear, and cowls or scarves. Fabric can be machine-washed in cold water, but tumble drying is not recommended for longevity. The cut edges do curl up, so take note if that matters to you.
Wool is naturally odour-resistant, breathable, moisture-wicking (so it dries really quickly), and temperature-regulating. I personally can't wear regular sheeps wool, but I find the wool fabrics in the shop comfortable to wear and not scratchy at all - still, please buy with care if your skin is very sensitive.
*A similar-looking fabric was stocked previously, but this one has higher stretch and a slightly lower GSM weight.
