Merino wool single knit jersey in a muted ultramarine blue with a subtle slubby look. Soft and smooth (slightly more "woolly"-feeling on the inside), and quite dry to the touch. It drapes well, with less "cling" than the higher-stretch jerseys, and has a touch of structure to it. Just slightly translucent. This is deadstock from an outdoor wear brand (click here to view all fabric from this brand), suitable for clothing such as short or long-sleeved tees, jersey cardigans, cowl-neck blouses, camisoles, sleepwear, kids wear, etc. Fabric can be machine-washed in cold water, but tumble drying is not recommended for longevity.
Wool is naturally odour-resistant, breathable, moisture-wicking (so it dries really quickly), and temperature-regulating. I personally can't wear regular sheeps wool, but I find the wool fabrics in the shop comfortable to wear and not scratchy at all - still, please buy with care if your skin is very sensitive.
