Crepe modal stretch jersey zig-zag 199gsm, by metre

This single knit fabric is called "crepe modal", but it does not have a very strong crepey feel, it just has a slight texture to it compared to most modals which are silky-smooth.  Fabric feels very comfortable and slightly dry against the skin, and is very soft with very good drape.  The chevron-like design could be used with the grain or cross-grain, and features shades of black, deep blue (hard to see against the black but one of the lines is a very dark blue), cream, light warm tan and warm pink.  Suitable for clothing such as drapey fitted blouses, tops and tees, wrap dresses, lightweight knit pants, even sleepwear.  It is pretty much opaque on the skin.  Single knit, so the cut edges do curl slightly.
