Pure cotton french terry knit fabric is smooth and very soft and comfy on the skin. French terry fabric looks like regular jersey knit on the front and has little loops knitted into the fabric on the back, making it more moisture-wicking and absorbent. This fabric has a bright, light almond-coloured base, with bright vermilion (orangey-red) cherries and pine green stems. Just slightly translucent on the skin, with quite a good drape. Relatively lightweight for french terry so it's suitable for tees, pullovers, hoodies, sleepwear, or toddler rompers and pants. Kids wear brand deadstock.
Ribbing is optional. Details of the available ribbing shown in last 2 photos (base colour of fabric is not showing up correctly):
- Pine green 1x1 ribbing (243gsm, 0.8m wide x 20cm long) - a darker shade than the stems, I think this is the better match texture-wise
- Red 2x2 ribbing (277gsm, 1.25m wide x 20cm long) - a redder shade than the cherries
