Boiled wool double knit fabric in a dark grey marl colour. Althought the fabric composition is pure wool, it is exceptionally soft and even cuddly. Not a very heavy fabric but relatively lofty and bulky for its weight. Fabric is opaque with some drape, and feels a bit springy in the hand. Both sides look identical. Suitable for clothing such as coatigans, cardigans, slouchy turtlenecks, pullovers, fisherman-style sweaters, knit dresses, menswear and kids wear. Gentle hand-washing in cold water or dry-cleaning is recommended. Swatches are available, leave a note at checkout if you'd like one.
Wool is naturally odour-resistant, breathable, moisture-wicking (so it dries really quickly), and temperature-regulating. I personally can't wear regular sheeps wool, but I find all the wool fabrics in the shop comfortable to wear and not scratchy at all - still, please buy with care if your skin is very sensitive.
