Black modal blend stretch jersey 123gsm, last 1.5m

Modal single knit stretch jersey fabric blended with some protein fibre such as soybean, lightweight but not fragile.  The colour is soft black, with a bit of sheen visible on the reverse (probably from the elastane yarns).  Soft and comfortable against the skin, less slippery-smooth and less cool to the touch than typical modals, with a matte, dry hand-feel.  Feels a bit "springy" when grasped.  It is a single knit with plenty of stretch, so the cut edges do curl up.  It drapes very well.  Fabric is basically opaque on the skin but becomes more sheer the more it is stretched - nice for those very thin, fitted mockneck layering tops, or drapey blouse tops.  Would also make a nice lightweight cardigan, inner camisoles, bralettes and underwear.
