90gsm fruit & veg cambric, by metre

Pure cotton printed cambric, composed of superfine 80's yarns in a tight, regular weave. Smooth and soft to the touch, slightly crisp, a pleasure to sew and to wear. I find this fabric similar to tana lawn, but a bit thicker in weight. Has slight drape. This "Fruit & veg" print is a charming print of stylised fruits and vegetables in fuchsia pink, forest green, chartreuse, ultramarine and black on natural white. (The "Khaki floral" print is available separately in the shop, shown here as well as it's the same base fabric.) Light-coloured parts are just slightly translucent. Suitable for clothing such as tops, blouses, shirts, dresses, pajamas and children's wear.
