84gsm rayon blend voile, by metre

Lightweight rayon voile with a touch of linen, it very soft and comfortable on the skin, with a slightly cool and dry hand-feel.  Has a bit of crinkled texture that gives it a casual, rumpled feel.  Fabric has a wine red and raspberry base with a block print-like abstract floral design in dusty purple and muted leaf green print.  Ideal for blouses such as peasant-style tops, tunics, sleepwear and kids wear, or for lined skirts and dresses.  Fabric has a nice soft drape with a bit of body to it.  Somewhat similar to rayon challis but less drapey and slippery-smooth.  It is quite opaque thanks to the darker colours.
