83gsm magenta pink ramie, by metre

Pure ramie plain weave fabric with very fine yarns, similar to a crisp voile or batiste, in a magenta pink colour with a very subtle inherent lustre.  This fabric has fluid drape with excellent body and some structure to it.  It handles similarly to a very lightweight linen but with finer yarns and more body.  Ramie has a distinctive, slightly "crunchy" texture to it but is basically smooth overall.  Slightly translucent against the skin.  Suitable for tops, blouses, shirts, tunics, dresses or bottoms with lining or a slip, as a translucent accent yoke or sleeves paired with other fabrics, and it can also be used as a lining fabric.
