Pure cotton plisse fabric in natural white colour with a subtle textured design that looks like rows of geometric lace. The puckered texture of plisse fabric is produced from a fabric treatment after the fabric is woven (as compared to seersucker, where the texture is produced by the woven yarns). The textured design on this one is quite subtle, so one of the photos was taken over a red background to better show it off. This plisse is soft, softer than other plisse fabrics I've encountered, and handles more or less like a cotton voile. Fabric has some drape and is rather translucent, so it will need lining or an inner camisole/ slip. Suitable for tops, blouses, shirts, dresses, layered skirts and kids wear.
