Translucent pure ramie fabric woven of very fine yarns, featuring printed stripes in medium blue on off-white (it's hard to tell that the stripes are printed, as the fabric looks almost the same from either side). Fabric has a typical lightweight ramie feel, where the fabric itself is very fine and smooth, but somewhat "crunchy" to touch, not soft like cotton, yet with lots of soft, floaty drape. The texture should soften somewhat with washing. Fabric looks airy but is much stronger than cotton of equivalent weight. Besides drape it also has a good amount of body and some structure. Would make a lovely pool or beach cover-up or gauzy shirt, or other tops, blouses or dresses with lining. Ramie is cool to wear and presses very easily, similar to linen.
