A double-layered jacquard fabric, one side is a tightly-woven undyed pure cotton broadcloth, and the other is a greige/ natural linen colour loose-weave fabric in pure linen or linen with a little cotton.  The reversible jacquard design features abstract geometric shapes and incorporates the yarns from the opposite side of the fabric.  After washing, the loose weave of the linen side contracted more than the cotton side, causing the excess cotton fabric between the jacquard shapes to bunch up and create an intentionally puckered effect (it can also be ironed to make it somewhat less wrinkly-looking).  Texture-wise the fabric has a dry hand-feel and both sides are comfortable on the skin. It has some structure and slight drape, and is of course opaque.  This was an deadstock fabric originally used for clothing, it could be used for outerwear such as a coatigan, unusual dresses and pants, home decor such as throws and cushions, bags, etc.
