This natural indigo-dyed cotton stretch denim fabric is particularly soft for its weight/ thickness. It will be comfortable to wear from the get-go and doesn't require much "breaking in", if at all. Fabric arrives a very deep, almost reddish blue, but the colour will run and most likely become somewhat lighter and brighter after first wash. Suitable for pants and shorts, jackets, boxy tops, structured dresses, menswear or kids wear. Fabric has structure and a touch of drape, and is fully opaque.
Note: Denim fabric should be washed separately, as the natural indigo dye will run. Washing a large piece of raw denim in your home washing machine may lead to dye lines caused by creasing, so you may wish to cut the fabric into smaller lengths and/or pre-soak the fabric before putting into the machine to minimise creases.
