293gsm metallic stripe linen, by metre

Heavyweight pure linen yarn dyed fabric with a soft metallic gold uneven stripe print.  The base fabric is woven of ivory white warp yarns and greige weft yarns (i.e. the colour of unbleached linen, with natural variations).  The yarns are thicker than normal but not scratchy at all, and are close woven and even.  The print has a distressed effect and is a soft gold, not over the top.  Fabric is totally opaque and you could use the plain reverse side as the front, if you prefer.  Fabric has good drape and moderate body.  Suitable for crafts, homewares, hats and bags, and could also be used for some clothing such as shorts, a chore jacket or other outerwear.
