An interesting woven half crepe fabric that is primarily wool with some plant fibre content such as linen or cotton. This fabric has a detailed, raised woven texture on the right side, whilst the inside is relatively smooth. It has good drape, with body and some structure to it. There is a slight dry, woolly feel, but it is not scratchy at all and can be worn against the skin. Fabric is fully opaque, somewhat like a lightweight corduroy in terms of the texture and weight. Suitable for clothing such as a midweight shacket (shirt jacket), bottoms, shorts, dungarees, jumper dress, casual blazer, menswear and kids wear. The colour is a deep grey-black, or perhaps a very desaturated, dark navy. Wrinkle resistant, and doesn’t stick to the skin.
I personally can't wear regular sheeps wool, but I find the wool fabrics in the shop comfortable to wear and not scratchy at all - still, please buy with care if your skin is very sensitive.
