Embroidered linen/polyester blend off-cuts from garment production, so the available sizes are irregular. The base fabric is a natural linen beige-coloured plain weave linen/poly blend - soft, with nice drape and a little body. The hand-feel is, of course, different from pure linen. The embroidery is done in a greyish teal blue colour, and features medium-scale line drawings of various plants. Embroidery is smooth on the right side but somewhat textured on the reverse, so you may want to add a lining. Just slightly translucent. Suitable for clothing such as shell tops, shift dresses, bottoms, outerwear and hats. This is designer deadstock fabric which was used for clothing, but personally I would use it for crafts, bags and pouches, and home decor such as light cushion covers, table runners, back drops, etc.
