Italian 100% merino wool crepe fabric (woven) in a matte, slightly greyish light pink. The hand-feel is soft with a slightly woolly, dry texture. Not scratchy at all. Fabric has a fair amount of soft, fluid drape with some body and structure. It is just slightly translucent. Typically used for tailored, lined jackets, shorts, pants, skirts and dresses, you could also try a blouse or shirt if you wanted to make something unlined. It feels slightly springy in the hand, and is wrinkle resistant. Dry-cleaning is the official recommendation, though you could try a gentle hand-wash in cold water.
I personally can't wear regular sheeps wool, but I find the wool fabrics in the shop comfortable to wear and not scratchy at all - still, please buy with care if your skin is very sensitive.
