55% linen/ 45% viscose blend fabric with criss-crossing slubs, beige in colour with an abstract print in dusty shades of clay orange, warm yellow, pear green, light khaki, light and dark grey, and light mauve, plus deep neutral brown (brown is not as warm as it looks in the photos). Please note that the design repeats across the fabric, with thin unprinted lines between each repeating "block". There are two such lines running down the length of the fabric and additional unprinted lines running across the fabric every 70cm or so - see 2nd and 3rd photos for examples. The lines may not be too obvious once the fabric is made up into a garment, or you could avoid them.
The base fabric is rather smooth and soft for a linen blend - not scratchy at all, with a somewhat dry hand-feel. The handle is a bit stiff and paper-like, but should soften with washing. Fabric has some body and structure, and a fair amount of drape. Suitable for clothing such as boxy tops, shirts, shorts, blouses and tunics, and kids wear.
