This is an unusual linen/cotton blend fabric featuring woven stripes with a crimped seersucker texture, currently available in 4 colour-ways (dark blue is sold out). Available on this page is the brown colour with greyish navy and rainbow regular stripes, other colours are available separately in the shop and are shown here just for comparison. The overall effect is like having ribbons appliqued onto the fabric, but this design is all woven in. The fabric itself is soft and comfortable on the skin, with slight drape. The right side is tightly woven, with the stripes running down the length of the fabric (parallel to the selvedge), whilst the back is a looser, more rustic weave. The two layers are securely woven together and will not come apart. Although this fabric is technically double-layered, making it quite opaque, it isn't too thick for our weather. Suitable for all kinds of clothing such as tops, loose shirts, tunics, dresses, bottoms, shorts and children's wear. Also great for hats, crafts and home decor items. Perfect to mix and match colours and stripe directions as you like.
