177gsm light beige tencel linen, by metre

Tightly woven, fine-textured twill fabric, mostly tencel with a small amount of linen.  The twill weave of this fabric is very fine and not noticeable unless you look closely.  It has excellent drape and also a nice amount of fluid body to it.  Slightly cool to the touch, smooth (no linen-y texture at all), and very comfortable against the skin.  I don't think I've stocked anything quite like this fabric before: the fluid drape and movement is a bit like a thick rayon challis with a little more body, whilst the hand-feel is dry like a ramie or linen/cotton blend, with just a hint of crinkled texture.  The colour is a very pale neutral beige with some darker, unbleached streaks or slubs here and there.  It is slightly translucent.  Suitable for clothing such as tops, camisoles, blouses, flowy shirts, tunics, dresses and bottoms (with lining), sleepwear, kids wear, or as a lining for a translucent fabric.  It’s so soft you could even use it for bedding if you wish.
