176gsm specialty weave yarn dyed linen, by metre

Pure linen yarn dyed fabric woven of contrasting blue-black and off-white yarns in an interesting weave that looks a bit like a tiny fish scale design.  The yarns are average-sized and the weave is stable and close-woven, so the fabric is opaque on the skin.  The overall colour is not obviously blue, more like a greyish colour.  Fabric has very good body, drape and movement.  It has a bit of extra texture from the weave but is not scratchy at all and feels comfortable and slightly cool to the touch.  Suitable for bottoms such as pants and skirts, dresses, jumpsuits, slightly thicker shirts and blouses, tops, menswear and kids wear.  Last photo shows this fabric with some of the other pure linens available in the shop.
