171gsm white embroidered cotton linen, by metre

Cotton/ linen blend (mainly cotton) plain weave fabric with cotton embroidery in two thicknesses of thread.  The base fabric is a natural white colour and the embroidery is in natural white and light biscuit.  Base fabric is soft, fairly translucent, and has distinct criss-crossing slubs.  It is quite comfortable against the skin for an embroidered fabric - you might not need a lining for tops.  The embellishment features a non-directional floral trellis or grid, and the thicker biscuit-coloured thread couched onto it gives a nice dimensional look.  Both sides of the embroidery are quite neat, though they may be an occasional loose thread you'd need to trim yourself.  Suitable for tops, blouses, tunics, or dresses (with lining).
