169gsm navy check linen cotton, by metre

A linen/ cotton blend thick shirting fabric with a woven plaid design in shades of dark navy, indigo blue, khaki beige, red, pale grey, and black (the blues might be a bit brighter after washing as they seem to be indigo-dyed).  Has a high proportion of linen content. Fabric feels somewhat cool and dry to the touch, and is smooth and comfortable against the skin.  It is very structured with quite a stiff handle, though it should soften up after washing.  Opaque on the skin.  Suitable for mens and ladies shirts, tops and boxy tunics.  Shorts, culottes and structured dresses are possible, too.  Deadstock from an international brand.
