165gsm embroidered lime cotton linen, by metre

Cotton/linen blend fabric with a slight criss-cross texture and an embroidered ethnic-influenced design in ivory.  Base fabric colour is a wearable, slightly muted lime or yellowish green, it is almost opaque on the skin.  The embroidered design runs length-wise down the fabric (parallel to the selvedge), and is probably meant to be used cross-grain with the scalloped border acting as the hem, though you could use it either way.  Both selvedges have the scalloped design.  The embroidery is quite well done and just slightly less neat on the back side. Fabric has some drape and a little body and structure to it.  Feels dry to the touch, and is soft and smooth overall.  Suitable for tops, blouses, shirts, tunics, dresses, skirts and kids wear.  Wshes up nicely.
