Stone-washed, pigment-dyed grey pure cotton poplin. Due to the colouring process, the fabric colour has an uneven, distressed effect to it, and the reverse side is slightly lighter in tone. Either side could be used as right side. The base fabric is not thick but it is tightly woven, opaque, and relatively dense (it makes a "swishy" sound when you rustle it). Smooth and comfortable against the skin. Suitable for cargo or parachute-style bottoms, tops, shirts, dresses with some structure, lightweight shackets, menswear, and kids wear. Fabric has a fair amount of structure, and also some drape.
