152gsm cotton nylon metallic textured fabric, by metre

An unusual specialty fabric woven of about 70% cotton and 15% each polyamide and metallic yarns, in black, natural white and metallic silver.  The yarns vary in thickness, a bit like boucle but on a small scale.  This fabric is stable and quite sturdy, opaque on the skin, and looks almost identical from either side.  The stripes have a slight raised texture but the fabric itself is not scratchy.  Has moderate drape and good body.  You could use this for a sleeveless shell or boxy top, structured shirts, shift dresses, shorts, a lightweight bolero jacket or long boxy topper.  Could be used by itself as a single layer, I would probably add a thin lining for comfort though.  This one is deadstock from the same designer as the 158gsm tencel crepes and linen jersey knits.
