148gsm dusty purple linen, by metre

Pure linen plain weave fabric in a dusty purple colour (the purple has a slight pinkish or lilac hint). There are two separate fabrics from the same mill but possibly the same dye batch, as the colour is extremely similar. This is the 148gsm version, which is perhaps just a touch less saturated in colour than the 144gsm, but both the colour and weight difference are barely noticeable. The base fabric has a typical unwashed linen texture, it feels relatively smooth and dry and will soften more with washing. Almost opaque on the skin, with good body and drape. Suitable for clothing such as tops, blouses, shirts, tunics, dresses, men's shirts and kids wear, as well as various crafts such as embroidery.
