147gsm broken stripe linen, by metre

Pure linen yarn dyed fabric with woven "broken" stripes in off-white and shades of grey against a black ground.  This is an unprocessed linen so it's a bit hard and crispy when you receive it, but it will soften up with washing (the weave may also tighten up slightly as it shrinks). Slightly translucent as it is, with good body and drape.  Suitable for tops, blouses, shirts, dresses and men's shirts, as well as handicrafts.
