Viscose/tencel blend crepe de chine fabric with a very fine, matte texture, featuring a watercolour-and-ink scene of palm trees on sunset islands. The almond background is just slightly translucent. It feels a bit cool on the skin and has good drape, with more body to it than rayon challis. Compared to the other plant fibre-based crepes in the shop, this one has a bit of crisp-ness and structure to it. Plant-based fibres are absorbent and breathable - more comfortable on the skin than synthetic, especially in hot weather. This is a fashion fabric specifically meant for clothing, such as tops, shirts, blouses, dresses and skirts (with lining), kids wear or even a lightweight blazer. Scissors shown for scale are 17cm long.
