123gsm large gingham black, by piece

Pure cotton yarn-dyed gingham fabric with a woven rectangular check (9mm by 13mm) in 3 colour-ways: soft blue, soft green and black, all paired with white. This page is for the black colour, the others are available separately in the shop.  This is the companion fabric to the smaller gingham also available in the shop (see last photo), and can be mixed and matched for interesting effects. This is a crisp, substantial shirting-type broadcloth fabric with an extremely close and tight weave. The surface of the fabric has a very slight puckered or seersucker effect. Fabric is comfortable on the skin, almost opaque so it could be used for some casual or kid's bottoms. Suitable for tops, blouses, shirts, dresses, sleepwear, menswear and children's clothing. Could also be used for crafts such as doll-making, quilting, etc.
