122gsm blue cotton plisse, last 1.8m

Pure cotton plisse fabric in medium blue with a slight hint of periwinkle.  It has textured, crinkled stripes running doing the length of the fabric, parallel to the selvedge. Stripes vary in width but average about 1.5cm wide.  The puckered texture of plisse fabric is produced from a fabric treatment after the fabric is woven (as compared to seersucker, where the texture is produced by the woven yarns).  Fabric is tightly woven of fine yarns and has a slightly crisp handle to it. Opaque on the skin, with some soft structure and drape.  Suitable for blouses, men's and ladies' shirts, dresses, sleep wear, and kids wear.
