Pure cotton poplin dyed with natural indigo dye to a dark blue colour. Please note, natural indigo plant dye will run on first wash, and may need to be washed separately thereafter. The appearance of the fabric will develop over time and the resulting colour may not be perfectly even. Fabric is smooth and feels slightly crisp (it should soften more with washing). Fairly structured, with just a little drape to it. Opaque on the skin. Suitable for clothing such as tops, blouses, shirts, tunics, dresses, lightweight bottoms, menswear and kids wear. Could also be used for handicrafts such as quilting.
