112gsm brick grid check cotton, by metre

Pure cotton yarn dyed shirting-type fabric in a small rectangular grid check, available in two colours: Cobalt blue with pale pinkish lines (available separately in the shop, shown here for detail); and the dusty Brick red with dark khaki lines on this page. Fabric has medium-fine yarns which are tightly woven, so whilst it's not as slippery-smooth as some shirtings, it's more polished than homespun or similar yarn dyed cottons. Fabric is smooth, slightly crisp, and is opaque on the skin. Suitable for clothing such as tops, blouses, shirts, dresses, pajamas, men's wear and children's wear. Could also be used for handicrafts such as quilting.
