A cotton/tencel blend voile fabric with a woven check design in pale taupe (light brownish grey) and off-white. The yarn-dyed checks have a puckered, crinkly seersucker texture to them, which will be more obvious after washing. This fabric is soft and very comfortable on the skin, with a good amount of soft drape, and is slightly cool to the touch. Slightly translucent, but it shouldn't need a lining if making a gathered or voluminous top. It is more or less opaque in two layers. Suitable for kids and adults' clothing such as tops, gathered blouses, floaty tunics, dresses, tiered skirts and sleepwear sets. Feels light on the skin and cool to wear.
