103gsm warm check linen cotton, by metre

Lightweight linen/cotton blend (mostly linen with just a touch of cotton) yarn dyed fabric featuring a woven plaid design in shades of burnt orange, dark grey, pale watery blue, medium pink, natural white, cadet blue, beige-tan and even a bit of dusty purple. There's also an interesting slubby yarn woven in that changes colour from warm pink to light lime green and lemon yellow (see close-ups). This fabric has a dry hand-feel, quite soft and feels comfy on the skin. It has a nice amount of body and soft drape. Though it is slightly translucent, no lining is needed for tops, even, I think, for a man's shirt. Suitable for clothing such as tops, blouses, shirts, tunics, dresses (with lining) and scarves.
