Lightweight viscose/ polyamide fabric: the weft yarns are viscose and the warp yarns are clear polyamide, which adds strength, body, and wrinkle resistance without adding weight. Only the viscose yarns touch the skin. Fabric feels soft, smooth, and slightly cool to the touch. It has a nice, airy drape with moderate structure. The design features mainly creamy beige-y yellow with light purples, mauve pinks, peach, and light ochre florals. (The photos kind of wash out the colours - for example, there is some periwinkle blue in there, too.) Fabric is slightly translucent - you would probably need a lining for the lower part of a dress. Suitable for clothing such as tops, shirts, tunics, dresses, skirts, or playsuits with lined bottoms. This fabric has a very, very slight crinkle inherent to it, running across the width from selvedge to selvedge.
This type of lightweight polyamide-blend fashion fabric is ideal for patterns which call for an airy fabric that can still hold some shape, such as the Chalk & Notch Aria top.
