103gsm cotton linen bougainvillea, by metre

Lightweight cotton/linen blend voile fabric with a poplin-like weave as the horizontal weft yarns are thicker than the very fine warp yarns.  Fabric overall feels very fine and extremely smooth with a slight coolness to the touch.  It has a subtle two-tone effect as the weft yarns are a natural white colour and the warp yarns are a bougainvillea pink (fuchsia pink).  Has moderate drape with some structure and body.  Just slightly translucent (no lining needed for tops).  Suitable for tops, blouses, lightweight shirts, tunics, camisoles, dresses and kids wear. The thinness and body would make lovely gathered details.  Could also be used as a lining fabric for light outerwear, for example, as it's so smooth.
