Flat lingerie elastic for finishing the edges of inner wear such as undies and soft bras. It is soft enough to touch the skin directly. 1st photo shows both the back and front of each type; last photo is an example of the white sewn up as a bralette band (the camel foldover elastic also shown is available here). Details of each:-
- White: 1.5cm wide including a 5mm picot edge. Matte, natural white colour. Very soft with a plush back. On the thicker side, about 1.5mm-2mm. 130% stretch.
- Beige: 1.8cm wide including a 7mm picot edge. Mainly matte beige, the picot edge is champagne-coloured with a slight sheen. Very soft with a plush finish on both sides. On the thicker side, about 1.5mm-2mm. Firm, 110% stretch. (The decorative loops are a bit delicate - wash with care. If they snag on something and go out of shape, you can gently tug them back into place.)
Not suitable for using like regular elastic which is inserted into pants or skirt waistbands, etc. To preserve the life of anything with elastic, avoid washing at high temperatures or tumble drying.
